Description: Looks, brains and attitude—this is one chick you definitely don’t want to mess with. Don’t be deceived by that sweet shyness and pretty face, for her super powers can knock you out into pieces before you know it. An academic achiever and athlete, Nel has shown many the possibility of attaining the best of both worlds. This Chinese barbie doll is also a good listener and adviser, from family and love problems to school affairs, she is a friend you can totally depend on. Always living up to the Atenean way of MAGIS, she knows every trick of the trade of surviving terror profs and balancing study with social life. You would want to get to know her now before she soars up into the sky of a wonderful future ahead. Definitely swag!
How to be friends with her: The easiest way to her heart is boy talk: NBA! As for girls, nail polish and make-up is your first step to gaining her trust. It’s never that difficult to like and be chummy-chums with Miss President. So what are you waiting for? Go for it!

Description: The name Melinda means "honey" in Greek, which is certainly appropriate for one Melinda Gabuya, since she's totally golden and absolutely sweet! Melinda's a one-of-a-kind girl who's always ready with a smile. Her bubbliness and optimism simply radiates from her that you just can't help but love her and be her friend. Melinda's love for life is infectious; she always finds a way to make the most of it, whether it be on roadtrip adventures to famous (and not-so-famous!) tourist spots in the Philippines or exploring another part of herself on the theatrical stage. Description: He isn’t usually that hard to spot in a crowd, standing out with a big manly frame and that ballin’ look in his face, Noel will definitely catch your attention. A true blue Atenean ever since, Big Daddy tells us that one can spend numerous hours at the gym or playing basketball with the boys without compromising school. People look up to this guy because of his being dependable, coupled with that sweet sense of humor and warmth that tells you he is indeed one of those people you can trust. Definitely, pogi points!
How to be friends with him: Computer games, Cars and Basketball—three of the things that could get Abs Man’s interests rolling. You don’t have to worry much about how to be friends this guy, he usually loves teasing people which adds factor to his being attractive. The personality, indeed, outweighs the power of the abs.
Position: Secretary General Alias: The Fallen Angel Superpower: Can convert sinners to saints
Description: Jo is the sweet, silent and pretty type of girl with her loud friends you see across the classroom. But once she talks, prepare to be blown away! This charming and friendly little feline has gained numerous followers who admire her for being down-to-earth, understanding and simply put, good. She is the epitome of striking simplicity, from her looks to lifestyle; something that magnetically makes you want to know her more. Position: Vice President for Internal Affairs Alias: The Boy Next Door Superpower: Can be your Magic 8-ball
Description: Mike is good to have around because he practically has something to say about everything and almost anything. Ask him question and he instantly tells you his opinion about it, a value that not everybody usually possess. Either it's his JTA experience in Europe that made him that way, for legend hasit that four months of studying abroad indeed changes a person forever, but it did give mike a wide vision and perspective on things that is worth listening to. And to add to that, he has a big heart that makes him a regular volunteer at the annual Ateneo Blue Christmas. He also loves the outdoors and adventure activities. Now, that’s some cool boy-next-door you have!
How to be friends: He tends to be shy at times, but once you get a hang of him in any project event or even in class, you’ll definitely get along. He’s also into debating so philosophical and talkative people will surely have a good time with him.
Position: Vice President for External Relations Alias: The Super Star Superpower: Feeding people with artistic juices
Description: The perfect drama queen—can act, sing, dance, wear fancy clothes and everything else that spells theater. It’s like every room she walks into transforms into her personal dressing room, and we are but personal assistants waiting to be noticed. Trisha is your one-of-a-kind girl who is well read and well-versed, her being opinionated sets her apart from the ordinary. She’s the only person who can strut a Lady Gaga costume at the Lex GA without looking gaga at all. But more than that perky façade is a strong and brave girl who has a deeper sense and grasp of what life really is. Definitely, a super star in the making!
How to be friends: Just say hi to her along the hallway or whenever you see her. Better yet, strike up a conversation about random things and you’ll surely pull through. This Povedan doll doesn’t seem as snobbish as her fancy outfits may seem to look like.
Position: Vice President for Creative Communications Alias: Son of a Gaga Superpower: Can adobe photoshop the future
Description: For this guy, everyday is a fashion show. Usually in his favorite fedora hat, topman shirt and stylish boat shoes, J is the kind of person who’s easy to get along with in any circumstance. Whether it’s in class, or in a party or even when conducting a photoshoot, rest assured that he will welcome a small talk or a random greeting. People sometimes mistake his being shy as snubbing, but he is one of the craziest people around who loves and cares deeply for the people around him. In fact, he’s the type of person who would cook you noodles on an overnight trip or sweep the floor when his friends are already making much of a mess. A down-right Adobe photoshop God and self-proclaimed descendant of Lady Gaga, his creative juices and bright personality will definitely make you feel welcome. Oh, he’s a dancer and choreographer, too! Definitely ballin’.
How to be friends: If you are a fan of Lady Gaga who loves to dance and party, then fear not. You have this guy on your hook. Don’t hesitate to approach him as well if you want to learn a little bit of photoshop, you’ll surely need those skills for Marketing classes (if ever you do take one) or some future event god knows what.

Description: More than a pretty face, a good figure and witty brains, Wence is a good catch especially when it comes to friendship. Ultimately charming companies about town to provide Lex with its big time sponsors, her sweet and girl-next-door type of personality can practically woo anyone away. Not known to many, Wence is also a talent of many sorts—playing the violin, loving the arts and being active in sports. And she’s also one of the best woman drivers out there who can raise the female flag up against anti-feminist supporters. Truly, she is a girlfriend worth keeping, not only because of the things she knows but the independent things she does that is downright inspiring in more ways than one. Boys and girls should definitely watch out for this modelesque chick in town!

But more than that, Wence is flexible enough to ride on any topic or conversation, but on top of her lists would surely be music, arts and her new favorite TV series: FRINGE!
Position: Vice President for Human Resources Alias: The Gruff Man Superpower: Can Change the World
Description: A visionary and dreamer from the pleasant suburban hills of Antipolo, Af always had this certain and striking way of thinking and viewing life. An ordinary dude who hangs out with the boys, plays football, listens to good music and drives people in his cozy Chevrolet, the only thing that seems extraordinary about him is his overgrown beard, which is a trademark he takes much pride in by the way. His humor and cheerfulness is magnetic, one that can instantly break barriers in a seemingly awkward room. You can say that he is the best man of many, especially the girls, because he’s the type of guy who can listen well and give good advices. Despite his being too talkative at times, Af has proven himself worthy of a good company indeed. Definitely, the closest thing to a real cutie-patootie gruff!
How to be friends: Go to org events and get to know him along the way. From a seemingly small talk or joke to a philosophically deep conversation, Af is the person to have around when you’re bored or a little down. Believe me, the Gruff man never fails indeed!
Position: Vice President for Finance Alias: The Cowboy Chick Superpower: Can make you rich
Description: Those curls and pumps are deadly misleading, Yeng is that girly chick who can probably ride a rodeo better than the boys. Okay, that’s a bit exaggerated, but she’s definitely a unique personality who is true to herself and what she takes interest in. Also a gardener of A’s in her academic patch, Yeng is one of those people you enjoy teasing and hanging around with. It’s either because of her palpable warmth to people or on-the-go character that attracts you to her, I’m not really sure. But whether its watching a basketball game, watching a movie or discussing which color of nail polish is best, Yeng is a seeming breath of fresh air to have around. Oh, and the Bronx part? Let’s just say her she’s a real cowboy when it comes to a lot of things, always ready to try out a new adventure and experience! Her favorite sport? Cockfighting! Now that’s definitely rocking!
How to be friends: Sa pula or sa puti? It’s easy to make friends with a cowboy chick. From boy talk to girly stuff, she’ll surely pull through. Expect to be seeing her in the major Lex bazaars around town!
Position: Senior Batch Representative Alias: Swan Princess Superpower: Seduce people in getting what she wants
Description: Hair? Check. Lipstick? Check. Heels? Check! This Boss in-the-making may seem intimidating at first but once you get to know her, she’s actually a sweet thing with a big heart. Bianca has always had a strong personality, from her opinions to her rights, she is the type of person who wouldn’t let her guard down when she knows she’s right. Her being independent is striking, showcasing a person whom one can trust and ask advices from. Uknown to people, the softer side of her passions is the art of ballet, something that has always been a huge part of her in early years. Bianca moves like a swan, graceful and fragile but with the spirit of an eagle. Definitely, a boss in the making!
How to be friends: She loves debating, in fact, she used to be part of ADS. She is also hoping to pursue law which many of the members of Ateneo Lex might find interesting as a common ground. But above all, she’s your normal girl who loves to have fun, watch movies and just live freely!
Position: Junior Batch Representative Alias: Resident Jeje-Nerd Superpower: “A”ccounting God
Description: Known in his batch for setting curves and garnering “A’s”, one would think he is hated by many. But JV is indeed a sprightly air to have around, always laughing out loud and making out-of-this world jokes that never fail to make you laugh, even just a little, every time. He’s also talented, a member of Sibol in AHS, a renowned drama club where he spitted high musical tunes and acted entertainment for viewers. If you need to pimp your musical playlist, this music lover can give you lots of good recommendations from every genre. He’s also fun to have around during parties, find that one out for yourself. Jayvee is just that image of a kid who prefers to enjoy the brighter side of life, and sharing that joy to the people around him. Definitely, a jeje-nerd we would all miss!
How to be friends: It’s actually so easy to make friends with Jeje boy. Having joined the TnT family of OrSem this 2011, JV has finally come out of his shell to show the true, inner jeje from within!
Position: Sophomore Batch Representative Alias: The Korean Baby Superpower: Powerhugs and kisses that cheer you up
Descpription: When you’re down and tired, Eli is definitely the type of person to have around. Greeting you with a powerhug or a kiss on the cheek, she smiles as if there’s practically no worries in the world. She loves Korean food and singers, and she looks like one too. Apparently the EB’s baby, her strongest power of defeating us is via rapping Justin Beiber’s “Baby”, of which will have us pleading on our knees in no time. Eli loves painting her nails in different colors, exposing her being artistic and girly side. She also resides in the posh vicinity of Greenhills where you’ll surely easily spot her. Overall, Eli is one of those kids who simply wants to share the love and make the world a better place to live in. Definitely, too cute to handle!
How to be friends: You can probably talk about Korean bands and their pretty faces, or Korean food, or Domo at that. Yes, she loves anything that has Domo in it so you know what to get her for Christmas. |
